The grape diet

In recent years, we talk more and more often, in magazines and on television, power and how it can affect our health and our way of life; because the first step to do prevention starts right at the table and industry experts make their knowledge available to users dispensing valuable advice. One of the most followed diets is definitely the grape diet: fast, easy to follow and very purifying.

1.) It is a diet that consists only of the feeding of this sweet fruit for a few days, typically two or three, to ensure that the grapes can perform its beneficial properties on the body without the interference of other foods. Some nutritionists recommended extending it for a couple of weeks, but our body needs to also feed on other compounds present in various foods, such as proteins and lipids, so it is best not to overdo it.

It’s a tasty way to lose a few pounds (approximately sixty provides kilocalories per hundred grams), remove that sense of swelling that sometimes it can be very annoying, fight cellulite and water retention, but also to purify deeply, making it healthy and shiny skin and hair.

Grapes are a highly digestible, composed of water (which promotes diuresis), easily assimilated sugars like glucose and fructose, many minerals including magnesium and potassium, as well as antioxidants and anti-aging such as polyphenols, resveratrol, and tartaric acid. The skin is also rich in fiber, which gives it a laxative effect and highly purifying.

2.) On the type of grapes to choose from you can safely say that it is mostly a matter of taste, since, from the nutritional point of view, the different qualities on the market basically have the same values; the only difference is that the dark grapes, more pigmented, contains a higher number of element’s antioxidants, useful to combat the aging of cells.

But very important when following this diet that the fruits are ripe chosen to avoid the annoying problems that can give the unripe fruit, like heartburn and abdominal bloating.

In conclusion, we can confirm that the grape diet is also suitable for those suffering from gout and arthritis because it helps eliminate the uric acid and is also useful for that convalescent or weakened, as much energy as is contraindicated for those suffering from diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, for small children and whenever the advice of your doctor is not favorable.
